Is President elect Trump about to make a miss step?
Ok, have to be honest as you know I was a Trump supporter. Watched his news conference/show the other day and one thing stuck out to me.
Health care, if he thinks that the manufacturing of drugs overseas is contributing to the health care crisis, I am already starting to have reservations about his ability to correct the core of the problem.
Pharma is a small part of the problem. The bigger problem is that health care insurance companies are monopolies. NO state to state competition, they basically dictate what states they will write in and what states they won’t. Cap that off with some of the CEO’s making $30 million or more a year. What do you think the close underlings are making chicken feed?
If Trump does not enact the laws on the books regarding monopolies in the first 100 days on health care, in my opinion no matter what he does he is a failure. I warned you I would be tough on him regardless of my vote for him.
There are laws in effect that he can execute and stop the BS in the first 100 days:
“The only solution to the problem is to take the ~$3.5 trillion “medical industry” and make it a $1 trillion a year industry by enforcing the Sherman, Clayton and Robinson-Patman acts against each and every actor in same.
Robinson-Patman, for example, states that any commodity (physical, standardized good) that travels in interstate or international commerce cannot have discriminatory pricing applied to it between buyers of like kind and quantity. This quite-clearly applies to drugs and supplies used in medical care.”

This health care crisis is beyond normal health insurance. It effects Medicare, Medicaid and the like and lack of IMMEDIATE, SUBSTANTIVE, HARD CORE ENFORCEMENT AND ACTION in the first 100 days means the same old same old kick the can down the road.
Trump has three choices on this issue come in like a lion and take control, piece meal a healthcare coverage along like a cat, OR just stumble through the next four years and have no drastic change like a kitten. If he doesn’t choose option one he is no better than the rest of the politicians out there and expect 4 years of mediocrity with some flashes on occasion of accomplishments.
By the way, President Trump should stay the hell off twitter. I think it demeans his credibility and quite honestly once inaugurated demeans the office of the Presidency.
